The Santa Paula Concert Series' first goal was to assist in fundraising efforts for our Stained Glass Window Restoration Project. Now, after 6 annual series of concerts and in the beginning of the seventh season, only one stained glass window remains awaiting restoration, thanks to our audiences. As a direct result of the generosity of concertgoers, performers and our wonderful behind-the-scenes volunteers, the work is almost complete. Thank you to all who have been a part of getting this long-awaited project off the ground. Below are the first before-and-after pictures.
The Santa Paula
Concert Series was the brainchild of John Robles, a longtime church member
and musician who visualized bringing concerts to the Church as a means of
community outreach and fundraising. The initial few concerts were by
contemporary musicians and were attended by perhaps 20 people, but over time
the word has spread about the concerts being held in a beautiful
venue Santa Paula, and the concerts became a Series of
classical and world music events which now draw an average audience of 80 to
120 people! Below is the poster for this season's first concert.

2012 Season Upcoming Concerts We are pleased to announce that the Santa Paula Concert Series has, after these 7 seasons, achieved its goal of raising enough money to restore all our stained glass windows. The question was then considered of the future of the Series. Under consideration is the proposal to present not four, but one or two quality concerts per year to fund other restoration projects, such as rewiring the building or purchasing a new blower and motor for the pipe organ. We hope you will continue your generous patronage of the Series as it evolves and grows. Spring 2012
